| Help Strengthen the Animal Fighting Law in New York: Currently, New York has one of the worst animal fighting laws in the country. Fortunately, legislation has been introduced (A. 6287a/S. 3926) that will strengthen the animal fighting law in New York by making it a felony to possess animals for the purpose of fighting and attend an animal fight. TAKE ACTION Please make a brief, polite phone call to your state legislators to urge support this legislation. Click here to look up your state legislators (by your zip code) and their phone numbers. Tell him/her: "I am very concerned about animal fighting in New York. I strongly support A.B. 6287a/S.B. 3926, legislation to strengthen New York's animal fighting law. New York has one of the weakest dogfighting laws in the country. Please vote YES on this important legislation when it comes before you for consideration." Thank you! |
