Donations by Credit Card - You can make a credit card contribution by visiting the electronic donation service for UAA at Guidestar. Please click on the donate button below. Matching Gifts - Many companies encourage charitable interest among their employees by offering a matching gift program. Search here to see if your company offers a matching gift program or ask your company's HR Department if your employer matches gifts to UAA. This is an easy and effective way to double or even triple your contribution to the UAA Memorial Gift - You can honor and preserve the memory of a special friend, family member, or companion animal by making a donation in his or her honor. A memorial donation is a way of paying tribute to beloved animals and animal lovers while making a gift in their name to help stop animal suffering. Tell us the name of the individual or animal in whose memory you wish to make the donation, and UAA will send a special certificate celebrating the gift to you or the person whom you desigate. Planning your Estate - You can name United Action for Animals as a beneficiary by creating a new will, adding a codicil to your present will, or including UAA in your revocable trust. UAA can be named as either a direct beneficiary of a set amount of money, a specific asset (e.g. 100 shares of stock), or a percentage of your estate. A legacy to United Action for Animals may take different forms, including:
An individual may designate that a bequest be used for the general purposes of the organization, or to support a specific UAA program. The following is a suggested form for such a bequest:
UAA Gift Acceptance Policy - The acceptance of restricted gifts, personal property and closely held stocks will be determined on a case-by-case basis. For further information, please contact the Development Director at info@ua4a.org or call 212-249-9178. |
